Child Safety Standards Policy

Last Updated: 2025.1.16

Team ToChat (“we” or “us”) is dedicated to fostering a secure and healthy social environment, and we unequivocally prohibit any acts of sexual exploitation or abuse against children and adolescents through our application ToChat (the “Software” or “App”). To ensure the safety and confidentiality of minors, we have instituted the following Child Safety Standards Policy (the “Policy”).

This Policy is applicable to all users of the Software. We encourage you to read this Policy carefully before using the App. By accessing the Software, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to the terms of this Policy.

The terms “child” and “minor” in this Policy refer to any individual under the age of 18, or the applicable age of majority as defined by relevant local laws.

The Software and related services are not intended for use by children. Children shall not be registered as users of the Software. If you share your mobile phone or other electronic device with minors, you may activate parental controls to prevent the download of the Software, thereby ensuring the safety and appropriate use of such electronic devices by children.

1. Publication Standards

As users of the App, you may submit and receive photos, videos, text, or other materials (collectively referred to as “Content”). While we encourage self-expression among our users, however, any Content contains child sexual abuse and exploitation (“CSAE”) is not allowed to be created, uploaded, published, distributed or shared in the App.

Child sexual abuse and exploitation may manifest in various forms, including grooming, sexual extortion, live-streamed abuse, self-generated content, and child sexual abuse materials (“CSAM”).

Any Content related to the following theme is strictly prohibited (“Prohibited Content”):

Specifically, Content related to CSAE is prohibited, including but not limited to:

The aforementioned prohibitions also apply to, including but not limited to, direct or indirect sharing, requesting, linking, participating (including liking, reposting, or following accounts that distribute Prohibited Content), or expressing a desire for Prohibited Content.

2. How to Report

Should you find any Prohibited Content within the App, you are urged to utilize the in-app reporting system or to reach out directly to Tan, our specialist in handling Prohibited Content, via email at [Tochatapp@outlook.com].

Please be advised that engagement with Prohibited Content may constitute a legal violation. It is imperative that you report any Prohibited Content immediately, and refrain from liking, replying to, quoting, screenshotting, following accounts that disseminate, or otherwise engaging with such content.

In the event of suspected immediate danger, you are instructed to contact your local law enforcement agency.

3. Our Actions

We place significant emphasis on child safety and are committed to adhering to all applicable child safety laws and regulations. We adopt automated detection, human review, and user-submitted reports to block, detect, and remove Prohibited Content from the Software.

Upon becoming aware of Prohibited Content or receiving a report, we will promptly remove such content. Depending on the nature and severity of the violations, we may issue a warning, impose a short-term or permanent removal on the accounts responsible for posting or sharing such content, and/or report the violations to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or local law enforcement agencies.
